One of the library’s newest DVDs is also one of my favorite classics, Woman of the Year starring Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. In the comedic drama, Hepburn plays Tess Harding, a powerful, opinionated newspaper columnist who marries practical sports reporter Sam Craig, played by Tracy. Throughout the movie Harding struggles to balance her career ambitions with her marital responsibilities. The contrast between Craig and Harding leads to some heart wrenching moments; however, the film ends with a scene involving the two at their comedic best. Check out Woman of the Year!
