On Saturday, February 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. the Harker Heights Public Library is offering an exciting workshop designed to help get “Every Child Ready To Read®.” This workshop will explain what skills children need before entering kindergarten, why the skills are so important, demonstrate how to help children learn the skills, provide titles of high-interest books that are age appropriate, and will send you home with early literacy activities to incorporate into your daily routine.
