“Spectacular Stories” Book Signing
Wednesday, June 9 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
The Harker Heights Public Library will host a book signing at the Library on Wednesday, June 9 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Available will be many of the student authors and illustrators who contributed short stories, poems, and drawings for the Central Texas Reading Council’s “Spectacular Stories.” This anthology includes a variety of works written and perfected by authors and illustrators at the 2010 Young Authors and Illustrators’ Conference. Copies of the book will be available for $15.00 each. This book signing party is part of the Library’s Summer Reading Club Opening Event which includes snacks, facepainting, summer reading club registration, and a performance by The Knights of the Guild at 10:00 a.m. Call 953-5492 for more information.
