Peach Girl Anime

Love is a battlefield… or in Momo Adachi’s case, a hurricane! In Miwa Ueda’s high school drama, Peach Girl, is about Momo Adachi’s trials and tribulations. At the beginning of the series, you see just one of the problems that Momo has to deal with. She is often stereotyped by many (including her clueless classmates) as a “Party Girl” due to her tanned skin and bleached out hair! To make matters worse, she has a frenemy named Sae Kashiwagi that wants nothing but to see her “friend” miserable, especially in the ‘love’ department. When Sae gets wind that Momo has a huge crush on Toji, she does whatever it takes to make sure that Momo does not end up with her at all costs. And of course, we can’t leave out Kairi (or ‘Kiley’ depending on the translation)! Having his own motives, he does his best to make Momo happy, but all the while he wants Momo himself! Will Momo actually be with Toji and live happily ever after, or will Sae lie and manipulate her way between the two? Or will Momo end up with Kairi? You’ll have to check out the complete series from our library to find out! If you like a good drama, this is worth it!! I loved the manga and the anime was just as spectacular!
