NetLibrary has added 800 mp3-format downloadable audiobook titles to the collection. What does this mean? Previously, all NetLibrary books were WMA format, and only worked with Windows PCs and Windows Media Player-compatible mp3 players. The mp3 titles will work with any player -- including iPods. They'll also work with other brands of players, such as Creative or Sansa, on Apple computers or PCs. This morning, I downloaded one book to my MacBook and my iPod, and another to my MacBook and my Creative Zen Nano.
Just look for the green mp3 icon

to find a book that plays on iPods. Don't have a NetLibrary account? Call the library at 953-5491 or stop by the circulation or reference desks to set one up.
